The Raoul Wallenberg Committee of the United States continues to
support the search for Raoul Wallenberg the man, but it is
imperative that we pass along the values of Raoul Wallenberg the
hero to future generations. We asked ourselves "How?" Our solution
is an educational program, A STUDY OF HEROES, that teaches students to
distinguish between a 'hero' and a 'celebrity.' School
violence is a national issue that we address by helping students
identify nonviolent role models. It is our belief that . . . the
heroes of a nation reflect the values of its people.
